IMAGES FROM THE SHIRLÈ KLEIN-CARSH PORTFOLIO:
Shirlè Klein-Carsh:
Shirlè Klein-Carsh is a gifted artist who was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. Her only formal training was at Concordia University and the National Museum of Fine Arts (both in Montreal). Inspiration for her oversized, colorful abstracts in various media is derived from strong religious and spiritual beliefs coupled with a fascination for the workings of the subconscious mind. She paints with what she terms her “third eye” and leaves the interpretation of each piece to the individual viewer. Klein-Carsh has exhibited in solo and group shows around the world. She is an active member of the North Shore Artists Guild in West Vancouver, British Columbia, where she lives with her husband. Shirlè Klein-Carsh can be contacted through her website: www.nsartists.ca/shirlekleincarsh. “Shirlè is a surrealistic painter whose talent reaches deep into the cosmic realm of the infinite, to create images and impressions of both magical and mysterious worlds outside the realm of the ordinary. Her strong sense of colour and unique style of presentation make each of her paintings a rare find in today’s art world. Shirlè has shown her art in many exhibitions around the world since 1965.” —Frank Lewis Morton, Poet and Metaphysician, Shirlè Klein-Carsh is a surrealistic painter and a woman who, from childhood, never felt that Earth was her true home. Shirlè, we learn, is an adult “Indigo” and a “Wanderer.” Indigos are psychically sensitive people, and much information can be found these days on the subject of Indigo children. “Wanderers,” Blatt explains, “are ETs who volunteer to incarnate on Earth to help in some way.” In an unprecedented face-to-face period that permanently transformed Klein-Carsh psychologically, spiritually and professionally, she became a student of Frank’s gentle teachings. Through him, she gained an understanding about herself and a confidence in her artistic talents. Perhaps because of her unique qualities known to be those of the “indigo” or “wanderer,” Frank also gave her a future mission. With her personality traits and through her art, she would have the tools to convey messages to humanity that some would not easily accept — that we are more than physical beings, that we must strive to evolve spiritually and that love and compassion are the answers to the future health of the human race and the earth. The impact of her time with Frank was so strong that over a span of 10 years afterwards, Klein-Carsh produced 155 beautifully surreal paintings of distinctly otherworldy scenes. By 2003, she had been recognized in 33 international exhibitions. |
